October 1985 - July 1999
Woody was bred by Sandra Tonkyn and imported in 1992. Before he left England, he accumulated 30 Challenge Certificates under 30 different judges. He finished his American championship in under 10 shows at 8 years of age. In 1996 he went to Canada and finished his Canadian championship in straight shows at 11 years of age. His love of the show ring has carried him through years of campaigning in three countries!
As a stud dog Woody's record is equally impressive. He is the sire of several champions in England, and was 1994's top stud in England. Woody's son, Eng. Ch. Willowglen Silver Cavalier "97", is 1994 and 1996 and 1997's top winning Cardigan. 97 currently has 34 Challenge Certificates, including twice winning the dog challenge at the Cardigan Welsh Corgi Association National Specialty. Woody is also the sire of several American champions. His kids are known for their outgoing, eager to please attitudes. He has many kids in performance fields, including a multiple High in Herding Trial daughter.
Woody resided with Don and Susan Lassila in Montana and was owned by Cathy Ochs-Cline, Patrick Ormos, Sheryl Mills and the late Sandra Tonkyn.  His wonderful smile and cheerfulness will long be remembered.
