This year's national was very exciting. The entry
was the largest ever and the competition was incredible. Congratulations
to all the winners. Special congratulations to "Melody", Ch.
Phi-Vestavia Original Sin, CD. Mellie not only won Best in Veteran Sweepstakes,
and Runner-Up to Best Cardigan in the Megan, then she went on to win the
tough Veterans Bitch class and Best of Breed. Way to go, Doris and Mellie!!
We had lots of fun, too. Percy earned his CGC
and TDI, ran in the agility clinic and won the Stud Dog class (second year
in a row). Mr. Remington (Kennebec Red Oak Remington) won his puppy class.
Woody (Am/Can./Eng. Ch. Beckrow Blue Cedar) made an appearance in the Veterans
Dog class and looked marvelous. And last, but not least, Gloria strutted
her stuff right up to the final cut. She lost breed to her aunt, Mellie,
but she's looking forward to next year.
