Rudy, BOS sweeps, Ohio Specialty

Peter as a youngster. He was only 6 weeks old in this picture. Its nice when puppies grow up to fill their potential. Peter was the fifth male we kept from our 1998-1999 litters. He was the puppy we didn't need, but couldn't let go!

At the National he was shown in the very tough Bred-By class and went on to Reserve Winners Dog. Peter didn't go Winners because he was upholding the tradition set by his father and half-sister, who also went Reserve at their Nationals. Percy and Gloria went on to win Best of Breed in subsequent years, so going Reserve might be good luck for Peter!

Peter's career began a few days before the National. At his second show he was BOS over a top winning special and picked up a couple of single points. Peter now has both his majors and is just a couple of points shy of his championship.
