Puppies at 3 Weeks
|
- This picture was actually taken when the pups where two weeks old and
opening their eyes. They reacted to the flash on the camera for the first
time!

- Gloria nursing her puppies at 3 weeks. It is unusual for momma to still
be laying down while nursing. By now moms mostly stand or sit to
limit access once the puppies get teeth. However, Gloria still lays
with her puppies at 4 weeks. She is an excellent mother.

- The puppies wrestling at 3 weeks. The boys are beating up the
girls. This is sure to bring retaliation!

Laser (10 week
old puppy from the Willa x Carbon litter) jumps in the box to visit. I
don't usually allow this, but he was being especially gentle and I wanted
to see what would happen.

- "Hey, you guys want to play?"
|
- "O.K. I'll take you all on."
- "You're pretty. Want to go back to my cage and see
my collection of chew toys?"
- "No need to yell. I was just being friendly."
- "Now you hurt my feelings. Not to mention that I'm
scared of your violent streak."

Gloria decided things were getting too wild and she chased Laser out
of the box. At that point I was laughing so hard I could hardly operate
the camera anymore.

Chewy daring Corey to come and get him. Chewy slept with these puppies
a lot.
