Showing alters can be really rewarding. It is a way to get out and participate at the cat shows without all the male spraying, female calling and general messiness that goes with showing in the Championship classes. The cats below were either bought as show alters, or were retired whole cats who continued to show as alters. Many people believe that the alter classes are less competitive than the Championship classes, but we have found this really isn't true. Although usually there are fewer cats competing, the quality is very high in Bengals and we are proud of all the wins our alters have achieved. |

Sinjun was the beginning of the friendship and collaboration between Christine and Cathy. He is from Cathy's first litter of kittens and Christine fell in love with him at the NovaCats show in April of 1999. Sinjun began Christine's love of Bengals and was the first of many she now owns. Sinjun is a sweet lovable cuddler, who enjoys shows but would rather be at home relaxing. Even so, he easily gained his Quadruple Grand Championship and only needs that last big rosette to be a Supreme. |

Valiant is a beautiful huge Seal Lynx Point, who despite his size, is really a big mush. He is one rosette shy of his Grand Championship, but he really didn't enjoy the shows much. He is much more comfortable keeping all the other cats at Christine's house in line. |

Ryker is the cherished pet of Cathy's daughter Jennifer. He earned his championship as a whole cat and continued to compete as an alter. The highlight of his career is his Best Alter at the Acrobaticats show in November of 2000. Ryker may come back out occasionally, but he much prefers to stay home and play with Luke Richard (born March 15, 2000). |
