Committee Reports
1. AKC Club Recognition: Susan Francis-Haughton outlined the process the CCWCC must go through before it is recognized by the AKC as a local specialty club. She suggested a rough time-table for the different steps in the process. After a letter of introduction sent along with supporting documents requested by the AKC, we should hold a fun match and then make plans for a B match. Once we hold one successful B match, then we can officially support an entry at an all-breed show.
2. Nominating Committee: Nancy Jo Warczak solicited informal resumes for positions. The committee will meet soon and will notify the corresponding secretary by August 1st as to the slate of candidates. Open nominations will be taken at our September meeting.
3. Ways and Means: No report.

( d ) Associate membership shall be open to persons 18 years of age and older at a reduced rate. Associate members enjoy all the Privileges of the Club except they cannot vote or hold office. Associate membership is open to those persons who wish to support the club but are unable to regularly attend meetings. Associate members are not counted in determining a quorum.
Article I. Section 2. dues are payable on or before the 1st day of January of each year........During the month of November the Treasurer....Article I. Section 3. add a sentence to reflect that anyone applying for membership after September 1st will not have to pay more dues come the following January. We also need to add a section to Article I.
