"Bonnie-blue" is named because she came to me on Delta's silver wings when she was only 7 weeks old. And boy, what a racket she made at the airport! Since then she has been my best bed-buddy and my favorite companion.

Bonnie finished her American Championship at 2 years old, winning from coast to coast and all the way down to Texas. Her visit to "Auntie" Doris Slaboda earned her both majors. Her visit to "Auntie" Susan Lassila also earned her points and a Best of Breed over specials. I was proud to put that last single point on her right here in Virginia.

Bonnie visited Canada for a weekend in 1993. She came home with 8 Canadian points and Winners Bitch at the Canadian National Specialty. We hope to take Bonnie back to Canada so she can complete her Canadian championship, too.

Bonnie's first and only litter was sired by Ch. Spectrum's Harlem Shuffle (Ch. Phi-Vestavia Nautilus x Ch. Davenitch BlackFox Barketa). We've forgiven her for only having black and white puppies (!!!) since two of her sons just finished their championship -- Ch. Vestavia's Harlem Snowman "Theo" (owned by Karen Davidson) and Ch. Vestavia Bryndir Pure Energy "Jammer"(owned by James and Diana Ezell). Theo is a lovely black and white with brindle points and Jammer is a vivid tri-color.
Bonnie was bred and is co-owned by Kim Shira Rauber of Coedwig. She is by Ch. Springshire's Jumping Jack out of Ch. Davenitch Coedwig Lacey Blue. Thanks again to Kim for sending me my beautiful wistful-eyed Bonnie.

Bonnie is now living in a retirement home and has been spayed.  She is extremely happy with her new family, and we miss her.  Chewy (the cat) misses her also!
