February 1986 - May 1999
Lynnie is Ch. Kentwood Lyneth, imported from England in 1986. Lyneth was Best of Opposite Sex at the 1988 National Specialty and Award of Merit at the 1990 National. Her career in the show ring was short and sweet. She is better known for her accomplishments in the whelping box. Bred three times to three different studs, she produced 11 champions, many of them top producers in their own right. Her sons and daughters have been the foundation of several new cardigan kennels. We are proud to have been able to import her as her impact on the breed has been great. We will forever be grateful to the late Sonnica Godden for parting with her.

Lyneth lost her battle to cancer in May 1999, a few days before her granddaughter won the National.  She will  be missed as the "queen mother" of Phi-Vestavia.

Pictured here is Lyneth winning BOS at the 1988 National Specialty under Mrs. Denny Kodner. This was an especially large entry of bitches.
